Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce 2017 Arena Tour!

Red Hot Chili Willies!  For real, let’s thank Barney from the Simpsons for that one.   Though the Red Hot Chili Peppers have been around for roughly 25 years (uuuuuuuuugh….), they are as popular as ever.   Under the Bridge came out in 1992!!  At any rate, the 90’s rock band has just announced a very exciting arena tour in 2017 in support of their newest album, “The Getaway.”  In total, there will be 24 shows and will kick off on Jan. 5 in San Antonio, TX and will wrap up March 18 in Vancouver, BC.  The RHCP will also hit up other cities likes Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Seattle and Portland  No Chicago, surprisingly.  Jack Irons, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue will be joining them on tour.

The Red Hot Chili Peppered released their newest album, “The Getaway” earlier this summer via Warner Bros. Records.  Their eleventh studio album peaked at the #2 spot on the Billboard 200 and #1 in 10 other countries.  To pump up the album release, Anthony Kedis and the guys spent most of 2016 touring worldwide.  Their last album, “I’m With You.” was released in 2011.
