The Fratellis Announce Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied Tour

I am from Chicago.  The Fratellis‘ Chelsea Dagger is the wolf call of the reigning Stanley Cup Champions, the Chicago Blackhawks.  Now, the Scottish group have announced a new album and North American tour.  The new tour and album are titled “Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied.” The tour will kick off Sept. 16 in Toronto, ON and will wrap up Oct. 8 in Los Angeles, CA.  Fans can check out the new album which was released on Aug. 21 and features the single, “Me and the Devil.”

Jon Fratelli has a soft spot of his North American tours.  He says of the tour,”It’s the part of the job we look forward to. There’s something slightly romantic about the American tour. I bet it has to do with guys like us reading rock biographies, and those American tours always looking like the most fun. I remember reading a Led Zeppelin biography and saying, ‘I think I want to do that. That sounds quite good.’ I think it’s a combination of my visit to L.A. and the romanticism of it.”
