Paul McCartney Announces 2019 North American Tour Dates for Freshen Up Tour

It seems apparent that Sir Paul McCartney is like the Energizer Bunny.  He keeps going and going and going…  In the spirit of him never stopping, he announced North American tour dates in 2019 for his ‘Freshen Up Tour’.   The tour will be in support of his newest solo album, ‘Egypt Station.’  His first stop on tour will be Raleigh, NC on May 27, 2019 then he will continue on to Greenville, SC, Lexington, KY for the first time in 28 years, a first ever stop in Madison, WI and Moline, IL.  I can only imagine more dates will be added in the near future.  Before the North American leg kicks off, he will be touring in Canada, Japan, The UK, and Europe, as well as a stop at the Austin City Limits Festival in October of this year.

Paul McCartney’s seventeenth studio album, ‘Egypt Station’ will be released on Sept. 7, 2018 via Capitol Records.  To promote the release, he’s scheduled to appear on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday (Sept. 5th) and on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon next Thursday (Sept. 6th). His previous album, ‘New’ was released in 2015.
