Bob Dylan Announces Fall Tour

One of the biggest names in Classic Rock, Bob Dylan, just announced a brand new, lengthy fall tour.  This tour will be in support of his new six-disc collection, “The Basement Tapes Complete: The Bootleg Series Vol. 11.”  The tour will kick off Oct. 17 for three shows in Seattle, WA, then will wrap up Dec. 2 in NYC.  Other stops along the way include many two and three night gigs in select cities like Minneapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles and Philadelphia and four shows in NYC.

The new album, “The Basement Tapes Complete: The Bootleg Series Vol. 11,” is set to be released on November 4th.  This six-disc set is a large collection of rock music created throughout the decades and restored from the original tapes.  Included in the collection will be a two-disc set with 38 songs of highlights titled, “The Basement Tapes Raw.”

Dylan is one of the most influential musicians on the pop culture for more than five decades (let that one sink in for a moment).  He was a huge icon of the 1960’s as a historian of the era and as a hestitant figurehead.  Some of his songs were anthems of the US civil rights and anti-war movements like “The Times They are a-Changin;” and “Blowin’ in the Wind.”
