King Diamond Announces New Album and North American Tour

Heavy metal legend King Diamond dropped the news of a massive North American Tour later this year in support of his first album in twelve years!  The first of 23 shows will kick off Nov. 2 in Dallas, TX and will wrap up Dec. 4 in Phoenix, AZ.  He will also travel to Atlanta, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, L.A. and more.  He will also perform in Montreal and Vancouver in Canada.  Special guests on tour will be Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats and Idle Hands.

King Diamond plans toe release his latest studio album, “The Institute” on a TBA date in early 2020 via Metal Blade Records.  It will be his 13th studio album.  His previous album, “Give Me Your Soul…Please” was released in 2007 and includes the song “Neverending Hill” which earned him Best Metal Performance at the 2008 Grammy Awards.  In 2015, he went on a large U.S. tour performing his classic 1987 album in its entirety. Exodus joined him as opening act.
