Evanescence Plans First Tour Since 2012!

Evanescence was a fixture in the early 2000’s rock scene.  Their unique opera sound was really novel at the time  The group took a lengthy break about their 2o12 Evanescence Tour which featured The Pretty Reckless.  Now, the group is back together with their newly-acquired guitarist, Hen Majura.  The tour will kick off on Oct. 28 in Dallas, TX and will wrap up Nov. 23 in Huntington, NY.  The group will also makes stops in Houston, New Orleans, Miami Beach, Charlotte and Atlantic City.

Last summer for an eventful time for the band as longtime guitarist, Terry Balsamo, exited the group and was replaced with Jen Majura from Equilibrium.  Their last album was released in 2011 via Wind-Up Records.  It quickly reached the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold in Canada, UK and Australia. Evanesence got their start back in 1995 in Arkansas and are most known for their hit, “Bring Me to Life.” In other news, lead singer, Amy Lee will be releasing her first kids album this fall titled, “Dream Too Much.”  The children’s album will be released Sept. 30.
