Thom York Announces 2018 Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Tour

In my humble opinion, Thom Yorke is one the greatest frontmen of all time.  Taking a little hiatus from Radiohead, Yorke is heading out on a 19-date solo North American tour this fall.   He will kick off his ‘Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Tour’ on Nov. 23 in Philadelphia, PA and will wrap up Dec. 22 in Las Vegas, NV.  He will also head to Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles and Denver.  Joining York on tour will be fellow Radiohead bandmate Nigel Godrich and collaborator Tarik Barri, as well as special guest Oliver Coates.

Yorke released his latest solo album, ‘Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes’ in Sept. of 2014, via Godrich.  It is his second solo album and has peaked at the #13 spot on the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart.  His first solo album, ‘The Eraser’ was released in 2006 and was certified Gold in Canda, Japan and the UK.  Radiohead‘s latest album, ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ was released in 2016 and earned the group nominations for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Rock Song for ‘Burn the Witch’ at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
