Carrie Underwood Announces 2019 Cry Pretty Tour

Darling of the country music world, Carrie Underwood, is no stranger to selling out huge stadiums on massive tours.  2019 is shaping up much the same as she announced her ‘Cry Pretty Tour.’  The first of 57 shows kicks off May 1 in Greensboro, SC and wraps up Oct. 31 in Detroit, MI. She will also travel to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dallas, NYC, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago and Tulsa.   Additionally, she will also perform in Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto and Ottawa in Canada.  Special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June will join her on tour.  Her last major tour was in 2016 for her Storyteller Tour with Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers.

Carrie Underwood plans to release her latest album, ‘Cry Pretty’ in September of 2018 via Capitol Nashville.  It is her sixth studio album and the title track from the album already received a nomination for Choice Country Song for the Teen Choice Awards.  Her 2015 album, ‘Storyteller’ peaked at the #2 spot on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA.  In total, Underwood has won 7 Grammy Awards, 14 ACM Awards, 12 American Music Awards, 10 Billboard Music Awards and 8 Country Music Association Awards (which she hosts with fellow country superstar Brad Paisley).
