Insane Clown Posse Announces New Tour to Celebrate 20 Years of ‘The Great Milenko’
Who doesn’t like clowns?? To specify, clowns that are insane? How about a posse of insane clowns? The legendary Insane Clown Posse will be hitting the road this fall in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their epic album, “The Great Milenko.” This is a 29 date tour and will kick off on Sept. 20 in Minneapolis, MN and will wrap up Oct. 29 in Chicago, IL. ICP will also travel to Las Vegas, Houston, Dallas, NYC and more. They toured last year for their “Riddle Box Tour” which was dedicated to the group’s 1995 album.
The Insane Clown Posse released the controversial “The Great Milenko” album in August of 1997 via Disney’s Hollywood Records. Disney, not knowing what they signed up for had the album removed from the shelves quickly after release and was re-released a couple months later via Island Records. The ICP will re-release the re-release in September of this year via Island/UMe records and includes a “shockumentary” on DVD.
