The Lumineers Announce 2020 III North American Tour

Probably the biggest name in folk-rock music right now just announced a massive 2020 tour. The Lumineers dropped the news of a North American tour in support of their newest album, “III” and will kick off Feb. 1 in Asheville, NC.  They will also travel to Detroit, Brooklyn, Chicago, Washington D.C., Dallas and Atlanta in the U.S. and Toronto and Ottawa in Canada before wrapping up June 12 in Mansfield, MA.  Special guests on tour will be Mt. Joy.  Before the North American leg kicks off, The Lumineers will be heavily touring in Europe through the end of 2019.

The Lumineers plan to release their latest album, “III” on Sept. 13, 2019 via Decca Records.  Go ahead and guess how many studio albums came before this.  Ha.  Their 2016 album, “Cleopatra” peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and has since been certified Platinum by RIAA.  They supported the album with their ‘Cleopatra World Tour’ which went through 2017.  Langhorne Slim and the Lae, Rayland Baxter, Borns, Andrew Bird, Kaleo, Margaret Glaspy and Susto all joined the tour in support.  The same year, they joined parts of U2‘s The Joshua Tree Tour across North America.
