Tegan and Sara Announce 2019 Hey, I’m Just Like You Tour

Indie rock phenoms Tegan and Sara dropped the news of a big fall North American tour this fall to support their newest album, “Hey I’m Just Like You.”  The first of 23 shows will kick off Sept. 24 in Brooklyn, NY and will conclude Oct. 30 in Atlanta, GA.  They will also travel to Los Angeles, Seattle, Detroit, Washington D.C. and Boston.  They will also travel to Canada for shows in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.  In 2017, Tegan and Sara went on a large tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their popular fifth album “The Con.”

Tegan and Sara’s newest album “Hey, I’m Just Like You” will be released on Sept. 27, 2019.  It will be the band’s ninth studio album and consists of twelve recorded songs they created as teenagers.  Their last album, “Love You To Death” was released in 2016 and climbed to #16 on the Billboard 200 and included their hit single “Boyfriend.”  2013 was a great year for the duo as they received a Grammy nomination for Best Long Form Music Video for their third DVD “Get Along.”  2014 was crazy busy as they were the opening act for both Lady Gaga‘s ArtRave: The Artpop Ball  Tour and Katy Perry‘s Prismatic World Tour.
