Steely Dan Announces Absolutely Normal Tour ’21

American rock band Steely Dan just dropped the news of a brand new 2021 tour dubbed “Absolutely Normal Tour ’21.”  Fifteen cities will be visited and the first of the 28 shows will kick off on October 5th or a four-night stop in Miami Beach, FL at The Fillmore and will conclude on November 20 in Boston, MA.  Other stops on the tour include Orlando, St. Petersburg, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Port Chester and Morristown. Fans can look forward to a setlist that will pull from Steely Dan’s five-decade-long catalog, as well as Donald Fagan‘s solo album, “The Nightfly.”  Before this tour gets underway, Steely Dan will also be touring with Steve Winwood for the remainder of the summer.

To really amp up excitement for the tour, UMe (United Music Enterprises) will release Steely Dan’s first live album, “Northeast Corridor: Steely Dan Live!” on Sept. 24th digitally and on CD.  The vinyl version will be dropped on Oct. 1st. This will be their first in over 25 years!  Fans can also expect a live album from Fagan’s “The Nightfly” to also be released shortly.
