Mike Gordon of Phish Announces 2017 ‘OGOGO’ Tour
This one’s for you, jam band fans! Mike Gordon of Phish just announced a solo tour in support of his soon to be released album, “OGOGO.” The 17 date North American tour will kick off Sept. 22 in Athens, GA and will wrap up Oct.14 for a two show set in Boulder, CO. Other stops along the way include Charlotte, Toronto, Detroit, Cincinnati, Chicago and Kansas City. Gordon’s last tour was last year for a 15 date trek.
Mike Gordon plans to release his newest and fifth studio album, “OGOGO” in a couple months on Sept. 15 via Megaplum/ATO Records. Fellow touring band members Scott Murawski, John Kimock, Robert Walter and Craig Myers helped with the album. His last album, “Overstep’ was released in 2014. His first solo album was released in 2003. Before he was solo artist, he was the bassist for Phish. Phish got their start way back in 1985 in Vermont with Trey Anastasio, Gordon, Jon Fishman, and Page McConnell.
