Interpol Announces Fall Tour
Just this morning, American rock band, Interpol, announced a lengthy fall tour to support their latest album, “El Pintor.” This will be the bands fifth album. The tour will kick off Aug. 21 in Las Vegas, NV and will wrap up Nov. 29 in Washington, D.C. Other stops will include San Diego, Denver Dallas, Memphis, Toronto, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Boston and many more! Interpol can be seen prior to the official kick off of their tour at Chicago’s Lollapalooza with Eminem, Arctic Monkeys and Lorde.
“El Pintor” is expected to be released on Sept. 8th abroad and on Sept. 9 in North America. They have already released the first track from the album, “All The Rage Back Home” and it’s getting awesome reviews. Interpol is largely associated with NYC’s indie-music scene and was very influential in the post-punk revival during the 2000’s. Interpol got their start in 2002 with their album, “Bright Lights” and was critically acclaimed. They followed up that album with “Antics” in 2004, “Our Love to Admire” in 2007, a self titled album in 2010 and fans are eagerly awaiting Interpol’s newest album.
