Yellowcard Plans Farewell Tour
Ah, Yellowcard reminds me of the early 00’s pop/punk era. Now the group has announced that they will be heading out on the road for the last time. Their farewell tour will be in support of their final and tenth album. The tour will kick off on Oct. 6 in San Antonio, TX and will wrap up Nov. 19 in Atlanta, GA. In total, there will 34 dates and will visit other cities like Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York City and Philadelphia. Like Torches and Dryjacket will join Yellowcard on tour. Before their farewell tour kicks off, fans can check them out at the Vans Warped Tour throughout the summer. I saw them at the tour in like 2002!
Yellowcard will release their very last album which is self-titled later this fall at the end of September. Their last album, “Lift a Sail” was released in 2014 and topped out at the #6 spot on the Billboard 200. In 2015, they toured with one of my other most favorite 00’s pop/punk band’s, Finch. In 2014, they toured with Memphis May Fire.
