Jimmy Eat World: Ten Year Anniversary Tour
One of my most favorite bands ever just announced that they will be heading out on tour in celebration of the tenth anniversary of one of my most favorite albums ever. Jimmy Eat World announced that they will go out on tour this fall to celebrate their album, “Futures”. The tour will kick off Oct. 2 in Ventura, CA and will wrap up Oct. 22 in Raleigh, N.C. Some of the other cities to be visited include Oakland, Denver, Cincinnati, Washington, D.C., Norfolk and more.
“Futures” is a great, great album and you should definitely check it out if you haven’t already. It was a the soundtrack of my early-mid twenties. The album was released back in Oct. 2004 and was JIW’s fifth studio album. Some of the notable songs from the album include “Work” and “Pain.” Pain has been on my running playlist for the last decade. It’s a great song for sprinting. The album has sold over 600,000 units in the U.S. and reached gold status.
I’ve seen Jimmy Eat World live a few times, and they are amazing live. Make sure you don’t miss your chance to see an amazing band perform an amazing album.
