Avril Lavigne Announces 2019 Head Above Water Tour

This will be her first tour in five years, now the 00’s pop-punk princess is ready to bring her act back on the road.  Avril Lavigne is feeling healthy after her diagnosis of lyme disease and ready to promote her brand new album, ‘Head Above Water’ with a 15-date North American tour.  The tour will kick off Sept. 14 in Seattle, WA and will wrap up Oct. 11 in Philadelphia, PA.  She will also travel to Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York City, Toronto and Washington D.C.  She last toured in 2014 with the Backstreet Boys for their ‘In A World Like This Tour’ where she traveled across Asia, South America and North America.

Avril Lavigne released her newest album, ‘Head Above Water’ on Feb. 15, 2019 via BMG Rights Management.  It is her sixth studio album and has climbed to the #13 on the Billboard 200.  Her previous self-titled album was released in 2013 and was certified Gold by the RIAA. She really made a name for herself in the early 2000’s when she was nominated for 4 Billboard Music Awards and 8 Grammy Awards.  She’s in the good company of Celine Dion and Shania Twain as being the best-selling Canadian female artist of all time.
