John Cleese and Eric Idle Announce: Together Again At Last…For the Very First Time

Two of the funniest men of the last 50 years are reuniting for a second joint tour this fall.  John Cleese and Eric Idle announced that they will head out for their “Together Again At Last…For the Very First Time” tour in North America this fall.  The tour will kick off on Oct. 16 in Victoria, BC and will wrap up Nov. 26 in El Paso, TX.  The comedians will also visit Washington, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and more.  Fans can look forward to both scripted and improvised portions, including singing, acting, storytelling and video footage.  Cleese and Idle said in a press release, “no shows (to) be quite the same, thus ensuring that every audience feels like they’re seeing ‘Together Again At Last … For The Very First Time,’ for the very first time.”

Cleese and Idle both got their start with the British comedy group Monty Python.  Idle found great success as the writer of the book and music for the award winning, “Spamalot.”  The music caused a bit of strife between the two as they had a differing of opinions on the money and royalties from the musical.  Thankfully, they have patched things up as they’re heading back out on the road together again now.
