Thom Yorke Announces 2019 North American Tour

Happening this fall, Thom Yorke of Radiohead will head out on a solo North American tour in support of his project ‘Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes.’  The first of 15 shows will kick off Sept. 26 in Laval, QC and will conclude Oct. 29 in Los Angeles, CA.  He will also travel to U.S. cities like Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Seattle, Las Vegas and Portland.  He will makes stops is Toronto and Vancouver in Canada.  Like many of his solo projects, he will be joined on stage by frequent collaborator Nigel Godrich and Tarik Barri. Fans can also check Yorke out at the Austin City Limits Music Festival this fall.

Thom Yorke released his second solo album, ‘Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes’ in September of 2014 and was produced by Godrich.  It climbed to #13 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart.  His debut solo album, ‘The Eraser’ was released in 2006 and was certified  Gold in Canada, Japan and the UK.  In 2016, Yorke’s primary band Radiohead released their album, ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ and was nominated for the Best Alternative Music Album and Best Rock Song for ‘Burn the Witch’ at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
