Mumford And Sons Announces The Austin 5000 Tour
Everyone loves jamming out to Mumford & Sons. Everyone. If you claim you don’t, you must have a black hole where your heart would be. Now the alternative folk pop rock band has announced an eight-date tour and the last U.S. shows of 2016. The group named the tour, “The Austin 5000” after “the many miles the band will have clocked by the time they finish” the tour, which is described as “a drive around their twin headline performances at Austin City Limits.” The tour will kick off on Sept. 26 in Salt Lake City, UT and will wrap up Oct. 6 in Chula Vista, CA. Catfish & The Bottlemen will join Mumford on tour.
Prior to this mini tour, fans can check out Mumford & Sons at the Life Is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas, NV. After the tour, the band will have a three day performance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, TX. The daily schedule for those festivals has not been announced just yet.
