Carrie Underwood Adds Dates to Las Vegas Residency

Only megastars get their own Las Vegas residency.  Carrie Underwood is a certified country music megastar. The singer and multi-time Female Vocalist of the Year initially planned a 12-date residency at the Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas dubbed the Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency. Underwood’s shows were originally scheduled for Dec. 1, 3, 4, 8, 10 and 11, 2021, but due to huge demand, she added shows on March 23, 25, 26, and 30, and on April 1 and 2 with the possibility of even more dates to be added.  Known for her heart of gold,$1 from every ticket sold to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The residency’s name, she says, comes from how the show will reflect her 16-year journey since winning American Idol in 2005. Her fans can also check her out at six festivals this summer including Country Jam, Twin Cities Summer Jam, and Barefoot Country Music Fest.

While the rest of the world was neck deep into Netflix, couch sitting and sourdough bread making, Underwood was HARD at work.  In March of 2020, she released her debut book, Find Your Path, and went on a book tour.  She won Entertainer of the Year at the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards, making her the most-awarded woman in the category.  She extended her own record for most wins at the CMT Music Awards with two awards for her video “Drinking Alone.”  She dropped her first Christmas Album, “My Gift” which was at the tops of many charts including Top Christan Albums and Top Holiday Albums.  She released a joint single with Spanish singer David Bisbal.  Then she took home even more nominations and awards including Video of the Year for “Hallelujah” featuring John Legend, and the top Christian Album for My Gift.
