Bastille and Passion Pit to Headline the Evolution Tour
It has just been announced that Bastille and Passion Pit will co-headline the Mercedes-Benz Evolution Tour. The tour kicks off June 23 in NYC and will wrap up Oct. 22 in Austin, TX. Other stops along the way include Chicago, Los Angeles and Atlanta. The tour will have the bands performing in some pretty top notch venues like Navy Pier in Chicago, Georgia Freight Depot in Atlanta and the Moody Theater in Austin. A great experience for the fans! Joining the headliners on stage will be local talent.
Last year, Alabama Shakes, Young the Giant and Mayer Hawthorne were the headlining acts. Fans can check out Mercedes’ new GLA and CLA compact model cars as well as fashion and art showcases by Gregory Siff and Zio Ziegler. The only way for fans to score tickets to this event is through a social media campaign by submitting an entry to be judged.
Vice President of marketing at Mercedes-Benz USA Drew Slaven said, “Music is becoming one of the most important customer intersects at Mercedes-Benz as we reach younger customers through brand experiences. Last year’s Evolution Tour was a big success and we look forward to continuing the momentum with exciting new talent and immersive experiences.”
