Bob Seger Announces FINAL tour with his Runaway Train Tour
One of the greatest rockers of all time just announced that he will be heading out on tour “one last time.” Bob Seger just announced the first round of tour dates for his “Runaway Train Tour” and will kick off Aug. 24 in Toledo, OH and will wrap up Oct. 28 in Phoenix, AZ. Some of the other stops along the way include Boston, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, St. Louis, Dallas and of course, Detroit at the DTE Energy Music Theater. Nancy Wilson from Heart will be joining him as the special guest for select dates.
Bob Seger released his last album, “Ride Out” a few years ago in Oct. of 2014 via Capitol Records. It’s strongly indicated to be his last album ever. The album debuted at the #3 spot on the Billboard 200 and includes both originals and covers of John Hiatt’s “Detroit Made” and Steve Earle’s “The Devil’s Right Hand.” Seger was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.
