BABYMETAL Announces 2019 North American Tour

One of the hottest j-pop groups on the scene right now is BABYMETAL and they are ready to take North America by storm later in 2019 in support of their latest album, ‘Metal Resistance.’  The first of 20 shows will kick off Sept. 4 in Orlando, FL and will wrap up Oct. 16 in Seattle, WA.  They will also travel to Atlanta, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas and more. Special guests on tour will be Avatar.  BABYMETAL had a brief tour U.S. tour after the unfortunate death of guitarist Mikio Fujioka in 2017.

BABYMETAL released their second album, ‘Metal Resistance’ in March of 2016.  The album peaked at a career-best #39 on the Billboard 200.  2015 was a banner year for the group as they received a number of awards including Best New Artist of the Year Award at the Loudwire Music Awards, Breakthrough Award at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards, Best Metal Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan and more.  The members of BABYMETAL include Suzuka Nakamoto as “Su-metal” and Moa Kikuchi as “Moametal”.
