Andy Grammer Headed Out on New Tour

True story, I had never really heard of Andy Grammer before, until last night.  He was performing with the American Idol winner ::spoiler:: Nick.  I was really impressed with what I saw, and I definitely want to hear tons more from this guy!  He was a ton of fun, and his songs were really catchy.  The singer-songwriter just announced a fairly short tour this August.  The tour will kick off Aug. 2 in Birmingham, AL and will wrap up Aug. 14 in Moorehead, MN.  Other stops along the way include Columbia, Sayreville, Kalamazoo, Louisville and Fargo.  Eager fans can also check out Mr. Grammer at tons of festivals this spring.  Joining him on tour will be American Authors.  Prior to this tour, Andy toured with Alex & Sierra, winners of the last American X- Factor reality show, in a tour titled “The Good Guys & a Girl Tour.”

Andy Grammer is heading out on tour to support his newest album, which is also his second, named “Magazines or Novels.”  That album was released last year on Aug. 5 via S-Curve Records.  His first album was released in 2011 and his the #1 spot on the Billboard New Artist Chart.    He has certainly drawn the attention of other music starts like Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat and Mat Kearney amongst others.
