Jennifer Lopez Announces Las Vegas Residency

There is a battle brewing!  Two American Idol judges, one current and one old, will both be planning a Las Vegas residency.  Jennifer Lopez just announced a new Las Vegas residency just one day after the last season of “Idol” was announced.

J. Lo’s new residency will include 20 shows between Jan. 20 and June 12 of 2016 at Planet Hollywood Casino & Resort’s Axis Theater.  The other former Idol judge, Mariah Carey and X-Factor judge, Britney Spears, also had residencies.

Fans can expect a sensory overload with high-energy, dancing, high-tech effects, costumes and a mix of music styles like ballads, Latin, funk and more.

Jennifer’s newest album, “A.K.A” was released last year in June and it her eight studio album.  It reach the #8 spot on the Billboard 200 chart and hit the top on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
