Modest Mouse Announces New Summer Tour
I really feel like Modest Mouse is one of the best alt. rock bands to come out within the past decade (has it really been that long??). They’ve been epically busy so far this year. Firstly, they released a new album, this first in eight years, titled “Stranger to Ourselves.” Secondly, they’ve been booked pretty heavily on the late-night circuit. Thirdly, they’ve been working extensively an a new LP with Krist Novoselic of Nirvana. It that’s not enough, they just announced a loaded summer tour.
The tour has Modest Mouse includes both a North American and European legs. The North American leg starts July 22 in Brooklyn, NY and will wrap up Aug. 21 in Los Angeles, CA. In addition to their tour, fans can also check Modest Mouse at tons of tours like Sasquatch, Firefly Festival, Open’er Festival and WayHome Festival and a showing at Austin City Limits in October.
