Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters Announces 2019 Tour

One of the most iconic rock singes of all time, Robert Plant, just announced a massive fall tour later in 2019.  The former Led Zeppelin singer will be joined by The Sensational Space Shifters.  They will kick off the tour on Sept. 17 in Philadelphia, PA with a co-headlining show with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.  The tour will conclude Oct. 3 in Bend, OR.  Fans can check out Plant at a number of festivals including New Brunswick’s Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, Indianapolis’ Outlaw Music Festival and Louisville’s Bourbon & Beyond Festival.

In 2018, Led Zeppelin celebrated their 50th anniversary by releasing a career-spanning illustrated book.  The lengthy book contains candid moments, previously unreleased photos and the detailed history of the band’s rise to fame. Plant said that it would be a ‘disservice’ to the band’s fans if the band were to reunite.  Regardless, fans should still reasonably expect that he will play Led Zeppelin material on tour as he has in the past.
