Straight No Chaser Announces 2018 One Shot Tour

Reminds me of my days back at Indiana University listening to their original ‘Frat Party.’  Straight No Chaser is a HUGE name on the a cappella scene and they just announced they will be heading out on the road this year.  In celebration of the 10th anniversary of signing with Atlantic Records, the SNC tour is dubbed the ‘One Shot Tour.’  The first of 48 shows will kick off Oct. 26 in Prior Lake, MN and will wrap up Dec. 31 in Seattle, WA.  They will also head to Dallas, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles and Indianapolis.   In 2017, SNC joined up with Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox on their ‘Double Feature Tour’ and later their own ‘The Speakeasy Tour.’

In 2015, Straight No Chaser went on their ‘The New Old Fashioned Tour’ in support of their latest studio album of the same name.    In 2013, they released the album ‘Under the Influence’ which peaked at a career best #28 on the Billboard 200.  The group got their start all the way back in 1996 Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!) and is made up of ten members including Randy Stine, Michael Luginbill, David Roberts, Charlie Mechling, Jerome Collins, Walter Chase, Donald Nottingham, Sargon Isho, Tyler Trepp and Steve Morgan.  The other huge a capella group on scene is Pentatonix.
