Steven Tyler Plans First Solo North American Tour
Few rock stars are as legendary as Steven Tyler. The man is an absolute icon. He got his start back in the 60’s as the lead singer of Aerosmith. He had a long and colorful history with the band, and now he is venturing out on his own for a 19-city solo tour Tyler’s new tour is dubbed the “Out on a Limb” tour and will kick off on July 2 in Las Vegas, NV and will wrap up Sept. 13 in Toronto, ON. Some of the other stops along the way include Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Vancouver and more. Loving Mary, his backing band, will join him on tour.
Steven Tyler has been busy creating his CMA Songwriters Series with acoustic performaces at the Melrose Ballroom in NYC from last autumn. The series features Tyler talking his story of his first country single, “Love Is Your Name” and began airing on Feb. 20. After the taping, Tyler released a second country single, “Red, White and You” and fans can expect a new album sometime soon.
