Sting Announces 2020 Las Vegas Residency

It certainly seems like the ‘it’ thing to do now, to have a Las Vegas residency.  Who can blame them?  Traveling to a new city every night for years sounds draining.  The latest act to take the plunge into the ranks of musicians with a Las Vegas residency is Sting who recently announced his ‘My Songs’ shows set for 2020.  The 16-date residency will happen at Caesar’s Palace’s The Colosseum.  The residency name ‘My Songs’ comes from his forthcoming record which is due out in May 24. It includes a retooling of tracks from throughout his career.  A press release was recently dropped and promises “a compendium of Sting’s songs with dynamic, visual references to some of his most iconic videos and inspirations.”

Other acts that have successfully had their own residencies include Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart and TONS more.  Heck, even Nickelback had a residency. ::Cough::
