Tegan and Sara Have Big Summer Tour Plans
Tegan and Sara are an Indie-pop phenomenon. They have some real catchy tunes under their belts. Now the duo have announced a lengthy North American tour. The new tour will be in support of their latest album, “Love You to Death” and will kick off on May 2 in West Hollywood, CA and will wrap up Nov. 16 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and will have forty stops! Some of the stops include NYC, Dallas, Denver, Chicago, Boston, New Orleans, Washington D.C., Atlanta and more. Some of the Canadian stops include Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. After the North American leg, Tegan and Sara will head to London and Australia.
Tegan and Sara’s newest album, “Love You to Death” is their eighth studio album and will be released on June 3. Their seventh album, “Heartthrob” was released in 2013 and reached the #3 spot on the Billboard 200. They’ve received nominations and awards from the Juno Awards, Grammy Awards and others. They are all about girl power and representation, having opened for Lady Gaga in 2014 and Katy Perry in 2015.
