Mumford & Sons: Wilder Mind Tour
Mumford and Sons had quite the performance on last weekend’s Saturday Night Live. It was a platform to showcase their newest album, “Wilder Mind.” Good news for eager fans wanting to hear more, Mumford and Sons just announced a brand-spanking new tour in North America to support that album. The tour will kick off June 2 in Brooklyn, NY and will wrap up June 20 in Waverly, IA. In between, the and be seen in Boston, Columbia, Detroit, Chicago and a few others. They will also be playing at quite a few festivals too like Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers (Mumford and Sons own mini festivals) and Squasmish Valley Music Valley Festival.
The bands newest album, “Wilder Mind’ is set to be released on May 4th via Gentlemen of the Road/Glassnote Records. Their last album, “Babel”, was released in 2012 and hit the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 in the US as well as in the UK. Their debut album, “Sigh No More” was released in 2009 and hit the #2 spot on the chart.
