Harry Connick Jr. Brings Jazz Style Out on Road
The man who, in my opi
nion, is the only person still keeping American Idol somewhat interesting, just announced a tour of his own. The immensely likeable and talented jazz singer from New Orleans, Harry Connick Jr., recently announced that he will be heading out on the road this summer. His tour will kick off July 9 in San Diego, CA and will wrap up Aug. 7 in Highland Park, IL at Ravinia Festival. Some of the other stops along the way include L.A., Denver, Memphis, St. Louis, Indianapolis and more.
This tour is in support of Connick’s newest album, “Every Man Should Know.” His most popular album was 2004’s, “Only You.” That album reached the #5 spot on Billboard 200. He has sold more than 28 million albums and is a best-selling male artist in America, as per the RIAA. Connick has been a judge on American Idol for three seasons now. Truth be told, he’s the only reason I even half-attempt to watch the show anymore. He’s funny and he’s real. Fun fact, some of the contestants on the show were born in the O_o
