AWOLNATION Plans Headlining North American Tour with Death From Above 1979
I think AWOLNATION is such a cool, current alt. rock band. They’re fresh off the Wintour with Fall Our Boy, and now AWOLNATION have announced that they will hit the road for their own headlining North American tour. The tour will kick off on June 17 in Louisville, KY and will wrap up June 21 in Whites Creek, TN. Some of the other stops along the way include Toronto, Boston, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Chicago and more. Death From Above 1979 and IRONTOM will be joining them on tour.
This tour will continue to support AWOLNATION’s newest album, “Run” which was released over a year ago on March 17, 2015. This album followed up their debut album in 2011, “Megalithic Symphony” which peaked at #84 on the Billboard 200. Honestly, I think that album was way better than what it ranked. It was definitely a solid album. AWOLNATION spent most of 2015 touring in support of their sophomore album along with IRONTOM and Meg Meyers.
