Phish Announces 2015 Summer Tour Plans

Attention jam band fans, one of the kings of the genre announced their summer tour plans.  Phish are perennial summer favorite and they just finalized their 25-date tour plans.  The tour will kick off with a two-night run in Bend, OR on July 21 and 22 and will wrap up Sept. 6 in Commerce City, CO after a three-day run.   Some of the other major cities to be visited include Austin, Atlanta, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Nashville, Elkorn, WI and more.  In the middle of their summer tour, Phish will also be hosting their own 3-day music festival in Watkins Glen, NY for the Magnaball.  That festival takes place Aug. 21-23.  Of special note, Phish will NOT be touring this fall, so if you’re a fan, check ’em out this summer!

Phish’s last tour was fall of 2014 where they visited most of the hot spots on the West coast.  They have a total of twelve studio albums under their belts.  The band has been together since 1989, 26 years.  Their last album was released last summer and it was titled, “Fuego.”  Phish is a jam band, but pulls sounds from rock, reggae, soul and bluegrass.  The band is made up of Trey Anastasio, Jon Fishman, Mike Gordon and Page McConnell.
