Gov’t Mule Packs Full Summer with Tours with Black Stone Cherry and The Avett Brothers

Spring is nearly upon us so that can nearly mean that one thing: it’s jam band season! The latest tour announcement comes from Southern jam band Gov’t Mule who will be heading out on the road to support their latest album, ‘Revolution Come…Revolution Go.’  The first of 12 shows will kick off April 18 in Bethlehem, PA and wrap up Aug. 25 in Clarkston, MI.  They will also head to Syracuse, Baltimore, Charleston and New Orleans.  Special guests on select dates include Black Stone Cherry, The Tangiers Blues Band and The Marcus King Band. If that wasn’t enough, now they dropped the news that they will be touring with The Avett Brothers for six shows with special guests The Magpie Salute.  Last year Gov’t Mule went on their ‘Come What May Tour’ followed by their ‘Revolution Come…Revolution Go’ Tour with Galactic.

Gov’t Mule released their newest album, ‘The Tel-Star Sessions’ in Aug. of 2016 via Evil Teen.  Their previous album, ‘Sco-Mule’ is a collaboration album with John Scofield.  It peaked at the #96 spot on the Billboard 200.  The same year, the duo teamed up for a co-headlining tour.  Current members include Warren Haynes, Matt Abts, Danny Louis and Jorgen Carlsson.
