Grammy Winning Ed Sheeran Announces 2017 World Tour

Hot pop- rock news!  The very talented, Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran just announced that he will be heading out on the road this year for a world tour.  This tour is in support of his newest album, “÷” and will kick off stateside for 48 dates starting June 29 in Kansas City, MO and will wrap up Oct. 6 in Nashville, TN.  Some of the other stops long the way include Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, D.C., Detroit and Brooklyn.  He will also head north to Toronto, Quebec City, Montreal, Edmonton and Vancouver.

Ed Sheeran just released his latest album, “÷” last week on March 3rd via Asylum Records and Atlantic Records.  His previous album, “X” quickly shot out of the gate at #1 in twelve countries and earned him an even larger following.  His first album, “+” was certified 2X Platinum by RIAA and 7x Platinum in the UK.  I always, always associate Ed with Taylor Swift and that is because he co-writes songs for her and was a fixture in her 2013 The Red Tour.
