Tool Announces Spring Tour AND Album Release

One of the greatest rock bands of our generation, Maynard James Keenan’s Tool just dropped the news that they’ll be heading out on the road this spring in support of the band’s first album IN 13 Years!! I’ve heard repeatedly over the years the Tool puts on one of the most amazing shows they’ve ever seen, and fans should expect no less from the brief tour this spring.  It will kick off May 7 in Birmingham AL then to  Lousiville, Hampton, St. Louis, Kansas City, Lincoln and wrap up in Des Moines, IA on May, 17. Fans can also check them out at Welcome to Rockville, Epicenter Festival and Chicago Open Air Festival also happening in the same month.  After their busy month, they’ll head to Europe in June for more headlining shows and festival gigs.

Tool plans to release their newest album sometime this spring after being constantly delayed over the years. IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING THIS YEAR!  It will be the band’s fifth studio album.  Their previous album, ‘10,000 Days’ was released in 2006 and climbed all the way to #1 on the Billboard 200 and has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.  In 2016, Tool toured with Primus for a co-headlining tour across America.  They received Grammy Awards in 1998 and 2003 for Best Metal Performance and another Grammy in 2007 for Best Recording Package.

Don’t miss your chance to see them live!!
