Jimmy Eat World Announces 2020 Criminal Energy Tour with Front Bottoms

It is my opinion that Jimmy Eat World is one of the most underrated bands of all time.  Truly, they are phenomenal, their live shows are amazing and their songs are super catchy.  Much to my excitement, they just announced a massive co-headlining tour across North America with The Front Bottoms.  Their Criminal Energy Tour will kick off Aug. 6 in Atlanta, GA and will conclude Sept. 4 in San Diego, CA.  They will also travel to Baltimore, NYC, Philadelphia, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago (hurray!), Phoenix and more.  Special guests on tour for select dates will be Turnover and Joyce Manor.  Before the tour gets underway, they’ll be finishing their Surviving Tour which kicked off in 2019 with Pronoun, JJ Wilde and White Reaper.  Fans (like me!) can check them out at a couple of festivals like Bottlerock and Chain Fest.

Jimmy Eat World released their latest album, “Surviving” in October of 2019 via RCA Records. It is their 10th studio album.  Their last album, “Integrity Blues” was released in 2016 and climbed to 17 on the Billboard 200 and includes the singles “Sure and Certain” and “Get Right.”  In 2019, they joined up with Third Eye Blind for their Summer Gods Tour with help from Ra Ra Riot.  In 2018, they launched their Integrity Blues Tour with The Hotelier and Microwave.
