CHVRCHES Has Busy Summer Planned with Death Cab for Cutie
I think one of the better alt rock bands emerging lately is CHVRCHES. They’ve definitely already “made it”, but their popularity is rapidly escalating and they’re capitalizing on it. Therefore, they’ve announced a small-ish tour with Death Cab for Cutie. The tour will kick off on June 7 in Cleveland, OH and will continue on to Canandaigua, NY, Augustine, GA, Charleston, SC and wrapping up in Charlotte, NC on June 16. Pure Bathing Culture will join them on the road. Eager fans can also check CHVRCHES out at a bunch of super popular music festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, Governor’s Ball, Firefly and Wayhome.
The tour will continue to support CHVRCHES newest and second album, “Every Open Eye” which was released in Sept. of 2015. That album has reached to the #8 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Their first album, ” The Bones of What You Believe” was released in 2013 and was Certified Gold in the UK. The group hails from Scotland.
