Soundgarden to Hit the Road this May for 9 Headlining Shows
Hot rock band news! The very talented (former Super Group?), Grammy award winning Soundarden have announced that they will be hitting the road this spring. Their headlining tour will kick off May 3 in Atlanta and will wrap up May 26 in Dallas, TX. They will also visit Tuscaloosa, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Detroit, Maryland Heights, Denver and Houston. Special guests The Pretty Reckless and The Dillinger Escape Plan will join them on select dates. Soundgarden will also put in some festival appearances at 98 Rockfest, Fort Rock, Welcome to Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion, Rock on the Range and Rocklahoma.
Soundgarden latest compilation album, “Echo of Miles; Scattered Tracks Across the Path” about 2.5 years ago in November of 2014 via A&M Records. They had a very successful tor that year in support of that album. They co-headlined with Nine-Inch Nails and traveled to 23 cities in North America. Their last studio album, “King Animal” was released in 2012 and peaked at the #5 spot on the Billboard 200.
