The Weeknd Announces Giant Summer Tour

In preparation for his soon-to-be-released album, The Weeknd has announced a lengthy North American tour.  The first of 43 shows will kick off June 11 in Vancouver, BC and will conclude Sept. 3 in NYC, NY.  He visit the major U.S. markets like Chicago, Detroit, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles and Nashville. He will also hit up Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto and Montreal in Canada.  Special guests on tour will be Sabrina Claudio and Don Toliver.

The Weeknd will be dropped his latest album, “After Hours” on March 20th, 2020 via XO and Republic Records.  It is his fourth studio album.  His previous album, “Starboy” was released in 2016 and peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and includes guest appearances by Lana Del Rey, Daft Punk, Kendrick Lamar and Future.  He supported the album with his “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour” with help by Nav, Gucci Mane, and French Montana.  In 2015, he got help from Travi$ Scott, Banks and Halsey on his “The Madness Tour.”
