Def Leppard Announces Summer Tour with Styx and Tesla
Hot 80’s hair band news! The band that created the genre, Def Leppard, just announced that they will be hitting the road this summer for a giant tour with Styx and Tesla. After a Canadian leg that begins April 17 and ends on May 5, the rockers will come down to the States for a tour that kick off June 23 in Tampa, FL and wraps up Oct. 4 in Bismark, ND. Some of the other major cities to be visited include Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Nashville, Phoenix, Denver and more. Some of the stops during the Canadian tour include Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary and Montreal.
Def Leppard’s last tour was in 2014 with Kiss. At that time, guitarist, Phil Collen, let the cat out of the bag that a new album would be out in 2015. Their last studio album was released back in 2008, titled “Songs from The Sparkle Lounge.” The band got their start back in the 1970’s, and to date, they have sold over 100 million albums. They won the Favorite Heavy Metal/Hard Rock Artist and Album at the 1989 American Music Awards. Their Hair Band following is enormous. This will be a fun concert, don’t miss out!
