Chance the Rapper Announces New Tour in Support of Coloring Book Mixtape

The Grammys Awards that took place this past weekend were very good to Chance the Rapper.  After to cleaned up all his awards, he announced a huge new North American tour in support of his latest mixtape “Coloring Book.”    Chance’s tour includes 36 dates and will kick off on April 23 in San Diego, CA and will wrap up Oct. 4 in Los Angeles, CA.  Some of the other stops along the way include Dallas, Dertroit, Seattle, NYC, Washington D.C. and Atlanta in the United States.  He will also travel north to Toronto and Montreal.  On Sunday, he took home awards for Best New Artist, Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance at the Grammys.

Chance the Rapper released his latest mixtape, “Coloring Book” on May 12 of last year.  His third mixtape debuted at the #8 spot on the Billboard 200 before he even sold a single copy of the album.  Special guests Kayne West, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, Young Thug and Kirk Franklin are featured on the album.  His last mixtape, “Acid Rap” was released in 2015.  In 2014, he toured the college scenes on his “Verge Campus Tour.”  Chance the Rapper is from the rough section of Chicago in the Chatham Neighborhood. He is a beacon of hope for those still living there.
