Cage the Elephant, Beck, and Spoon team up for North American tour
Three really amazing rock bands are teaming up this summer tour. Cage the Elephant is about to release a new album, and on that album is an appearance by Beck. What better way to promote than go on a co-headlining tour. If that’s not enough, Spoon will join the tour as the main support act. Special guests Starcrawler, Wild Belle and Sunflower Beam (seems like great names for an Essential Oil business?) will join on select dates.
The tour is dubbed the ‘Night Running Tour’ and the first of 30 shows will kick off July 11 in RIchfield, WA and will ultimately wrap up Aug. 30 in West Palm Beach, FL. They’ll also hit up George, Mountain View, Chicago, Saratoga and Queens.
Cage the Elephant’s Social Cues newest album will officially be out April 19th via RCA. Beck’s latest album, 2017’s Colors, won him Best Alternative Album at last week’s Grammy Awards. As for Spoon, they’ve been spending some time in the the studio, probably working on the follow-up to their 2017 album Hot Thoughts.
