Imagine Dragons Announces North American Tour
Imagine Dragons is one of the hottest bands out there today. Thankfully, they’ve just announced a huge summer tour throughout the U.S. in support of their newest album, “Smoke + Mirrors.” The tour will kick off after their appearance at the BottleRock Festival in May. The tour will officially start on June 3 in Portland, OR and will wrap up Aug. 1 in Boise, ID. Other stops along the way include Philadelphia, Boston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Dallas, and stops to the North in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Metric and Halsey will be the opening act for the tour. Imagine Dragons will take their act across the pond following the North American tour.
Imagine Dragon’s newest album, “Smoke + Mirrors” is set to be released on Feb. 17. Their last album, “Night Visions” was released in 2012 and was a HUGE hit. It hit the #2 spot on the Billboard 200. Included on the album were smash songs “Radioactive” and “Demons.” Rolling Stone called “Radioactive” the biggest rock hit on the year! They had a tour last year named the “Into the Night” tour to support that album. The group was nominated for the 2015 People’s Choice Awards for Favorite group and won the Grammy in 2014 for Best Rock Performance.
