My Chemical Romance To Reunite for 2020 Tour

This one’s for you, emo kids! The last time they toured was 9 years ago, and now My Chemical Romance is ready to hit the road again for a North American reunion tour later this year.  The first of 18 shows will kick off Sept. 9 in Detroit, MI and will conclude Oct. 16 after a trio of shows in Inglewood, CA.  They will also stop in Toronto, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas, Denver and Las Vegas.  Before the tour gets underway, they will be performing in Australia, Asia and Europe.

My Chemical Romance officially announced their breakup in 2013 and received much black eyeliner stained tears.  Their last album, “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys” dropped in 2010 and climbed to #8 on the Billboard 200.  Last year, rhythm guitarist Frank Lero went on a lengthy U.S. tour to support his latest project The Future Violents.  Lead singer Gerard Way toured in 2016 and 2017 as a solo act.  Original members Ray Toro and Mikey Way will also be returning to the 2020 reboot.
