Bon Iver Announces 2019 Spring Tour

Justin Vernon recently dropped the news that he will be taking his indie folk band, Bon Iver, on the road this spring. The first of 9 shows will kick off March 27 in Philadelphia, PA and will wrap up June 29 in Milwaukee, WI for Summerfest.  The band will also travel to Cleveland, Cincinnati, Memphis, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, Moline and Detroit.   Special guests on tour will be Lord Huron and Julien Baker.  After the North American leg concludes, they will head to Europe for another leg.

Bon Iver will continue to support their latest album, ’22, A Million’ which was released about 2.5 years ago in Sept. of 2016 via Jagjaguwar.  It is their third studio album and peaked at a career-best #2 on the Billboard 200.  The album received Grammy nominations for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Recording Package.  Their second album, ‘Bon Ive, Bon Iver’ was released in 2011 and won a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album and has since been certified Gold by RIAA. Other band members include Sean Carey, Matthew McCaughan, Michael Lewis and Andrew Fitzpatrick.
