Catfish and the Bottlemen Announce New Summer Tour
I super love indie rockers Catfish and the Bottlemen and I’m stoked to hear that they’re heading out on tour soon. The Welsh band announced an 18-date tour in support of their second album, “The Ride.” The tour will kick off on May 2 in Clifton Park, NY and will wrap up Sept. 16 in Pasadena, CA. Some of the other stops include Brooklyn, Pittsburgh, Houston, Phoenix and San Diego. They will also travel to Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada. Catfish and the Bottlemen will also put in a few festival appearances including Shaky Knees, Bottlerock and Sasquatch! After their tour wraps up, they will join Green Day on their Revolution Radio Tour.
Catfish and the Bottlemen released their latest album, “The Ride” last spring in May of 2016 via Capitol Records. So far, the album has peaked at the #28 spot on the Billboard 200 and #1 in the UK and Scotland. I would expect that album to rise on the charts as their airplay has been dramatically increasing lately in the States. Their first album, “The Balcony” was released in 2014 and is certified Gold in the UK.
